These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Nexcore Contractors Ltd (Company Registration Number: 15832676), a company registered in England and Wales. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Agreement

When you engage Nexcore Contractors Ltd, you agree that:

  • All quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
  • A written contract will be provided before work commences
  • You have the authority to authorize work on the property in question
  • All information provided to us is accurate and complete

2. Payment Terms

  • Deposits: A deposit may be required before work commences, typically 30-50% of the total project cost
  • Progress Payments: For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed upon
  • Final Payment: Due upon completion and your satisfaction with the work
  • Payment Methods: We accept bank transfer (BACS), credit/debit cards, and cheques
  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law

3. Our Obligations

Nexcore Contractors Ltd commits to:

  • Carry out all work with reasonable care and skill
  • Use quality materials suitable for the intended purpose
  • Maintain full public liability insurance (£10 million)
  • Comply with all relevant building regulations and safety standards
  • Provide certificates and guarantees where applicable
  • Complete work within agreed timescales (subject to Section 5)

4. Client Obligations

As our client, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site
  • Obtain necessary planning permissions (where applicable)
  • Make timely payments as agreed
  • Inform us of any site conditions that may affect our work
  • Notify us immediately of any concerns during the project

5. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Work may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Unforeseen structural issues discovered during work
  • Material supply delays
  • Client-requested changes

We will notify you promptly of any delays and work with you to minimize disruption.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

  • We provide workmanship guarantees as specified in your contract
  • Material warranties are provided by manufacturers
  • Guarantees do not cover damage caused by third parties, misuse, or neglect
  • Regular maintenance may be required to maintain warranty validity

7. Cancellations & Changes

  • Before Work Starts: You may cancel with written notice. Deposits may be refundable less any costs incurred
  • After Work Starts: Cancellation charges will apply for work completed and materials purchased
  • Changes to Scope: Any changes must be agreed in writing and may affect price and timescales

8. Liability & Insurance

  • We maintain £10 million public liability insurance
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage or defects
  • Our liability is limited to the contract value unless caused by negligence
  • Clients should notify their home insurance of works being undertaken

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  • We will first attempt to resolve the matter through direct negotiation
  • Mediation may be considered before legal action
  • These Terms are governed by English law
  • Any legal proceedings will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts
